“Fortra has been engaged with the unauthorized usage of Cobalt Strike since we acquired the solution a few years ago, and we’ve got research teams that are tracking where its being shared and how it’s being abused. We do hundreds of DMCAs and other legal filings every year and these were having an effect, but we decided it was time take more of a public stance around this and with this joint action with Microsoft and Health-ISAC we’re pushing back hard.”
