Giving Back with HelpSystems

Each employee gets one day off per year to participate in a “Good Neighbor” event. Our Good Neighbor Committee has helped build houses, served meals, stocked food shelves, and collected toys and school supplies for local charities and nonprofit organizations.

College Students

Our interns receive hands-on experience in their area of study by participating in our internship program. You’ll meet other interns, attend intern events, be a part of real projects, and apply what you learn in school. We know the value of internships and want to make this the best experience for you. We offer internships in almost every department (including Development, Human Resources, Marketing, QA, Support, and Finance) and in a few of our offices. Many of our interns are given the opportunity to work at HelpSystems part-time during the school year, and some are even hired full-time after they graduate!

What to Expect

The Interview Process

Once you apply for a job, your skills and experience will be reviewed. If your application determines you to be a potential match for a position, someone from our team will contact you to set up a phone interview. The phone interview will further assess your technical skills, experience, and education and give you the opportunity to ask questions about HelpSystems. Phone interviews typically last 20 – 30 minutes.

Next is the on-site interview. During the process, you may meet with several current HelpSystems employees from both management and potential team members. The onsite interview may be broken down into a couple days and may last up to a few hours.

Once the interviews have taken place, HelpSystems will decide if you are the right fit for the position. Sometimes it might take a few weeks to make a final decision, as we want to make sure it is a good fit for not only us, but you as well. If offered a position at HelpSystems, references will be contacted, and we will perform a background screen.

How long will it be before I know if I’ve been selected for an interview after applying?

You will receive an email confirming your application has been received. You will typically hear from someone on our team, one way or the other, within four weeks of applying.

How should I dress for my interview?

Here at HelpSystems, our dress code is casual. You may want to wear something that is business casual for the interview. You may also wear a suit if that is what you feel most comfortable in. We will be evaluating your knowledge, skills, experience, and abilities pertinent to the role, communication, and overall fit with the organization rather than your dress.
