Core Security provides offensive security and identity governance solutions and services that use proactive security assessments and access management to help organizations reduce risk, streamline operations, and reduce costs.
Recent product releases include:
- Core Impact 21.5
- A new module, Coercer, can be used to trigger several methods of coerced authentications, which enables lateral movements by forcing a machine to initiate an authentication attempt against an “attacker” machine
- A new Impacket feature, the NTLMrelayx module, can be used to piggyback off these coerced authentications to run additional attacks, including installing an agent via SMB, generating a certificate using ADCS, or running LDAP queries
- New dashboard and workspace management views have been added as part of ongoing efforts to modernize and revamp the user interface of Core Impact
- Support for CVSS 3.0 and 3.1 is now available as the scoring system for vulnerabilities, with support for version 4.0 ready as soon as it is adopted by NIST NVD
- Multiple exploits have been added to the Core Certified Exploit Library
