Posted on October 23, 2019

MINNEAPOLIS, MN, October 23, 2019 Fortra announced today that its annual Fall Fundraiser generated a record-breaking $142,550 to benefit numerous charitable organizations in the communities where the employees live and work. Charities include United Way, Forever Young, Treehouse, Secondhand Hounds, Penny Lane Centers, Ability Building Centers, SkillsUSA, Patriots for Pets, Nutmeg Big Brothers Big Sisters, North Fulton Community Charities, and Misericordia Heart of Mercy. Employees also contributed to international charity NPH USA.

“Giving back is one of our most important key values here at Fortra,” said Kate Bolseth, CEO, Fortra. “It’s inspiring to see employees come together to support our local communities and beyond. This fundraiser truly exemplifies what a special place Fortra is.”

The Fortra Fall Fundraiser includes events like a pancake breakfast, chili cook-off, and raffle ticket sales. Employees can also bid on silent auction items such as watching Fortra President Jim Cassens wash your dog, signed sports memorabilia, or the most coveted parking spots at local offices.

“Year over year, I am blown away by the generosity of our employees and the impact they make on their local communities.” said Cassens. “I’m extremely proud to be a part of the Fortra team.”
