John spent two and a half years as an original founder of the software division of an AS/400 security software firm and served as Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Before to that, John Vanderwall was founder and President of ClearView Marketing Services, LLC. ClearView specialized in contract sales representation for software firms and technology marketing consulting.
During his tenure, ClearView completed contracts with IIR Publishing (Midrange Computing), Microsoft, IMAS and Wall Data. Prior to ClearView, John spent eight years with WRQ as Product Manager and Market Development Manager for WRQ's IBM product line, and spearheaded WRQ's move into the IBM emulation market, authoring a business plan for creating a division focused on PC to IBM host connectivity. Today, the IBM products remain a key component of WRQ's product offerings.
