Jim Cassens

Jim Cassens was Executive Director at Fortra. Over more than two decades with the company, Jim led the business toward its historic growth on a global scale through his skillful handling of strategy, negotiation, and integration. He served most recently as President leading the sales organization and played a crucial role in Fortra’s long-term strategy as an advisor to the executive team.

Along with his role as president, Jim held a number of other key positions since joining Fortra in 2001. As Executive Vice President of Mergers and Acquisitions, he oversaw the acquisition process of new products into the Fortra line of solutions. He also served as President of Cross-Platform business units, Chief Technical Officer, and Vice President of International Sales. Prior to joining Fortra, Jim was the Director of Information Technology at Electrolux Floor Care.

Jim holds a B.A. in Business Administration/Computer Science from Aurora University in Aurora, Illinois, and an MBA from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota.
