Annual Fundraiser Impacts Communities Worldwide

MINNEAPOLIS – November 30, 2021 – Fortra, a cybersecurity and automation company, today announced that it will donate $90,000 to nonprofit organizations across the world focused on improving the lives of historically underserved or marginalized communities. The funds were raised by its employees during last month’s annual fundraiser.

“Giving back has long been a core value here at Fortra, and events of 2020 highlighted ongoing disparities in our communities, propelling us to do more,” said Joanna Leach, Chief People Officer, Fortra. “Since that time, we’ve shifted our annual fundraiser to benefit organizations that are 100% committed to diversity and inclusion. The beneficiaries were selected by our employees and will benefit communities in locations where our employees live and work.”

Fortra strives for equity for all and recognizes it is better when everyone is included, inclusive of age, sex, race, nationality, gender identity, sexual orientation, religious affiliation, parental status, marital status, military service, disability status, neurodiversity and all other qualities that create unique individuals.
