HelpSystems’ Annual Fall Fundraiser Sets New Record for Employees’ Charitable Giving

October 30, 2018

Minneapolis, MN, Oct. 30, 2018—HelpSystems announced today that its 2018 Employee Fall Fundraiser generated $123,020—a tally that breaks all previous company records. The funds raised by staff members will support numerous charitable organizations in the communities where employees live and work. These include the United Way, Forever Young, TreeHouse, Animal Humane Society of Minnesota, Ashland Dog Pound Foundation, Humane Society of North Iowa, My Friend’s Place in Los Angeles, Meals on Wheels Chicago, and Rochester Area Habitat for Humanity. On the international front, HelpSystems also supports NPH USA, an organization helping children around the world.

“Each year we hold a Fall Fundraiser to bring our team together to create lasting change in our communities,” said Chris Heim, CEO, HelpSystems. “I see people at HelpSystems being charitable to one another day in and day out. This fundraiser is a celebration of our culture and extension of what makes us a unique team that comes together to give back in so many ways.”

“When a child succeeds in school, when families are financially stable, when animals are safe, and when people have good health, the benefits are far reaching,” said Dan Mayleben, CFO, HelpSystems. I’m really proud of our team for their tremendous generosity and support for these important causes.”

The HelpSystems Fall Fundraiser is held over several days during which employees pledge support and participate in events like chili cook-offs and bingo to win prizes like a paid day off. Team members can also bid on silent auction items and the chance to be mayor of HelpSystems for a day. Learn more about the Fall Fundraiser from HelpSystems employees in this video.
