Automated Operations Products and Easy View

To find the release and modification level of the Automated Operations products and Easy View that you currently have installed, enter the command RSLVER on a command line. Or, enter the command RBO on a command line to display the Robot Products Menu and press function key 10.

If you are using the currently shipping release, you can update your modification level by downloading an update from our download page.
To convert from an older release, request a CD from our download page.

SEQUEL, ABSTRACT, and ESEND

For SEQUEL: To check the creation date of your installed software, enter the appropriate command.

Data Area Version: DSPOBJD OBJ(SEQUEL/ASC#SQ) OBJTYPE(*DTAARA) DETAIL(*SERVICE)
User Space Version: SQVER

For ABSTRACT: To check the creation date of your installed software, enter the command APVER.

For ESEND: To check the creation date of your installed software, enter the command ESVER.

Online System i updates for SEQUEL, ABSTRACT, and ESEND are NOT currently available from this Web site, request a CD from our download page.
Online PC updates for SEQUEL, ABSTRACT, and ESEND can be downloaded in our downloads area. The Robot Product Maintenance Wizard is not required for PC updates.

Notes:
1.	You must have IBM Media and Storage Extensions (MSE) to run Robot/SAVE.
2.	This is the minimum release/modification level required to use the PC GUI with i5/OS V5R4. See the Help/FACTS: Changes for Help/Systems GUI products on i5/OS V5R4 or Higher. If you do not use the PC GUI for these products, you do not need to update to the release/modification level specified for i5/OS V5R4.
3.	You must have JDK 1.3 (or higher) installed to install Robot/TRANSFORM on the System i. JDK 1.4 must be installed to run the IFS monitor job.
4.	Robot/SAVE 10.13 is required to use the Restricted State Utility (RSU) with i5/OS V5R3 or higher.
5.	Robot/LPAR Version 2 (or higher) requires HMC Version 6, Release 1.3 (or higher).
6.	Robot/AUTOTUNE must be updated when upgrading from i5/OS V5R3 to V5R4. Several Robot/AUTOTUNE programs must be replaced to update the product for V5R4. Do one of the following to update the product if your operating system is V5R3:
	a.	If Robot/AUTOTUNE is at R07M16 or later, change the data area ATRELMOD in ATLIB before updating the product to V5R4. Enter the following command: CHGDTAARA DTAARA(ATLIB/ATRELMOD(1 14)) VALUE(‘R07M15 060101’) You then can update Robot/AUTOTUNE to R07M16 or later for V5R4.
	b.	If Robot/AUTOTUNE is at R07M15, you can simply update the product to the most current version.
7.	If you are running Robot/NETWORK Host or Node on a V5R4 system, RBTSYSLIB must be at R01M93 on all systems in the network.
