Robot/NETWORK 10 Compatibility With Other Robot Products

Product:
Robot/NETWORK

This Help/FACTS describes cross-system Host and Node capabilities and considerations when you use Robot/NETWORK with Robot/SCHEDULE, Robot/CONSOLE, and Robot/REPORTS. Use this information as a guide when setting up your network configuration.

* Robot/SCHEDULE 10 is not supported on a Robot/NETWORK 9 Node.
** Available for other Robot/SCHEDULE 9 systems only. Robot/NETWORK 10 and Robot/SCHEDULE 10 do not support a Robot/NETWORK 9 Node and Robot/SCHEDULE 9.
*** Available for other Robot/SCHEDULE 9 systems only. Robot/NETWORK 10 does not support cross-system reactivity setups and group member setups with Robot/SCHEDULE 9.

Other Robot/SCHEDULE Considerations

To use Robot/SCHEDULE 10 in a Robot/NETWORK 10 environment, be aware of the following items:

  • Make sure that Robot/NETWORK on the Host and Alternate Host is at R10M00 or later before converting Robot/SCHEDULE.
  • You must upgrade the Host and Alternate Host systems to Robot/NETWORK 10 before you can upgrade any of the Nodes.
  • To use the RBNSNDRBT command between a Node and a Host, they must have the same version of Robot/SCHEDULE installed. That is, the command works between a Node and a Host if both have Robot/SCHEDULE 9, or both have Robot/SCHEDULE 10.
