Returning To Robot/NETWORK Version 9
Use the following procedures to return Hosts, Alternate Hosts, and Nodes to Robot/NETWORK version 9 and Robot/SCHEDULE version 9.
Returning A Host Or Alternate Host To Robot/NETWORK 9
This section describes the steps to return a Host or Alternate Host to Robot/NETWORK version 9:
- Enter the following command to move the Robot/NETWORK 9 objects to their correct location:
- Rename or delete the RBTNETLIB and RBTNETNODE libraries.
- Rename the RBTHOSTV9 library to RBTNETLIB.
- Rename the RBTNODEV9 library to RBTNETNODE.
- Delete the RBTNETPT user profile.
- Enter the following command and locate the Help Systems directory:
- Run the following program on the Host:
- Run the following command for the Host:
- Run the following commands for each alternate Host:
- Edit the RSLPM file in the RBTSYSLIB library and update the following records by renaming the GUIAPP objects to their Robot/NETWORK 9 names:
- Edit the RSLLP file in the RBTSYSLIB library and update the NOD record to rename the RBN394N program to RBN394. In the following example, we use EASYVIEW to edit the record.
MOVOBJ OBJ(RBTNETLIB/RBNHDQ) OBJTYPE(*DTAQ) TOLIB(RBTHOSTV9)
WRKLNK
Enter option 2 next to the Help Systems directory and option 9 next to Robot NETWORK to remove the Robot NETWORK directory and its subdirectories.
CALL PGM(RBTNETLIB/RBNHCLEAN)
RBTNETLIB/RBNCFGHOST (*NONE)
RBTNETNODE/RBNCFGNODE (host IP address) (alternate host IP address)
CHGAJE SBSD(RBTSYSLIB/RBTSLEEPER) JOB(RBNSTRHOST)
JOBD(RBTNETLIB/RBNHAJ1)
| Product Code | Description | Network 10 Object Name | PMSEQ | Network 9 Object Name |
| RBN* | Robot/NETWORK | GUIAPP | 90 | RBTNET |
| RNN* | Robot/NETWORK Node | GUIAPP | 100 | RBTNODE |
* Robot/NETWORK Host
** Robot/NETWORK Node

Locate the NOD record and edit it.

Rename the LPPGM program RBN394N to RBN394 and save the record.
Returning A Node To Robot/NETWORK 9
This section describes the steps to return a Node to Robot/NETWORK version 9:
- Rename or delete the RBTNETNODE library.
- Rename the RBTNODEV9 library to RBTNETNODE.
- Delete the RBTNETPT user profile.
- Run the following program:
- Run the following command:
- Edit the RSLPM file in the RBTSYSLIB library and update the following records by renaming the GUIAPP objects to their Robot/NETWORK 9 names:
- Execute the following command:
CALL PGM(RBTNETNODE/RBNNCLEAN)
RBTNETNODE/RBNCFGNODE (host IP address) (alternate host IP address)
| Product Code | Description | Network 10 Object Name | PMSEQ | Network 9 Object Name |
| RNN* | Robot/NETWORK Node | GUIAPP | 100 | RBTNODE |
* Robot/NETWORK Node
CHGAJE SBSD (RBTSYSLIB/RBTSLEEPER) JOB (RBNSTRNODE)
JOBD (RBTNETNODE/RBNNAJ2)
Note: This change will not take effect until you end and restart the RBTSLEEPER subsystem.
Returning A Host Or Node To Robot/SCHEDULE 9
This section describes the steps to return a Host or Node to Robot/SCHEDULE version 9—Robot/SCHEDULE 10 will not work with Robot/NETWORK 9.
- Rename or delete the ROBOTLIB, RBTMRGLIB, and RBNRBTMST libraries.
- Rename the ROBOTLIBV9 library to ROBOTLIB.
- Rename the ROBOTMRGV9 library to RBTMRGLIB.
- Rename the ROBOTMST09 library to RBNRBTMST.
- The ROBOTV9JRN object contains the Robot/SCHEDULE journals in the V9Journal save file. If you want to see the entries in the audit log, move these journals to the ROBOTLIB library.
