Changing a Robot/NETWORK 9.0 Node System from SNA to TCP/IP Protocol

WARNING: Do not perform this procedure on a Host system. This procedure is for Node systems only.
To change a Robot/NETWORK Node’s protocol from SNA to TCP/IP, perform the following steps on the Node:
Note: Both the Node you are changing and its Host must be at Robot/NETWORK version 9.0.
- Sign on using a user profile that has the following characteristics:
- Is a member of the user class *SECOFR.
- Has the special authorities: *ALLOBJ, *SECADM, and *IOSYSCFG.
- Has Limit Capabilities set to *NO.
- Make sure that no users are using Robot/NETWORK and that Robot/NETWORK has ended.
- Enter the following command and press Enter:

- Enter the following command and press F4 to display the command prompt:
- From the command prompt, enter the following values:
ADDLIBLE RBTNETNODE
CALL RBNNCLEAN
RBTNETNODE/RBNCFGNODE
| Communication Type | TCPIP |
| Name | The current system name of the Robot/NETWORK Host. |
| Password | The Robot/NETWORK password. (If you do not know the password, ask your Network administrator for the Host RBTNETPT password.) |
| IP Address | The Host’s TCP/IP address. |
