New Robot Product Certification program begins
Help/Systems recently began a Robot Product Certification program for the most popular Robot products. This certification program ensures you have the appropriate knowledge to run the Robot products and allows you to:
- Validate your know-how
- Prove your expertise
- Earn the recognition you deserve!
To be certified for a product, you must pass two tests—a knowledge exam and a practical exam.
What is the knowledge exam?
The knowledge exam is an online exam that consists of multiple-choice questions covering all aspects of the product. It is a monitored and timed test. When you complete the test (or time runs out), the test is scored automatically and the results are sent to you.
- The minimum passing grade is 80% correct.
- The test administrator will provide feedback, via e-mail, of each incorrect answer listed by category.
- The cost of the exam includes one free retake within 30 days of the first attempt. Additional retakes are available at the regular price.

What is the practical exam?
The practical exam assesses your technical knowledge and skill as you use/demonstrate the product with an instructor to perform routine operations tasks.

How do I get ready for the tests?

In general, you should follow these steps to prepare for and complete your Robot Product Certification(s):
- Evaluate your experience level. Take a realistic look at how well you understand the product and decide whether you need to study or train. The areas the tests cover are outlined at our Web site.
- Study and train (if necessary). If you are new to the Robot products, or feel you need hands-on experience, check the resources that we have available. Consider taking an online class or using One-on-One Consulting.
- Register for your exams. When you feel that you have enough knowledge of the Robot product, you can register for your exams.
Note: Certification is open only to customers who are current on maintenance.
