Is there a report in Robot/SCHEDULE that shows all cross-system reactive jobs in the network?
Yes. When you are in the Robot/SCHEDULE Explorer in Host mode, you can select Consolidated Reports and run either the Cross System Reactive Jobs or the Cross System Prerequisite Jobs report to display this information.
Why is my Robot/SAVE backup asking for a specific volume when I use a scratch pool?
This may happen if a backup fails. When Robot/SAVE is in the middle of a backup, it has attached a volume from the scratch pool to that specific rotation. You must decide whether the volume in use at the time the backup failed should be removed from the rotation or kept.
If you know that the data is incomplete, use option 9 (Remove Media Volume). If you want to keep the volume, verify that the next rotation doesn’t have any volumes attached, then use option 3 (Mark as Next Set/Rtn to Use) on that rotation. Then, Robot/SAVE will be able to use tapes from the scratch pool.
Is there any way to use the spooled file name as the name for the PDF file that Robot/REPORTS creates?
Yes, use the new REPSETVAR command in an OPAL segment. This command lets you use specific spooled file attributes, such as file name, user data, or even information in the report, to name the PDF file.
If you distribute reports in .PDF or .CSV format using Robot/ALERT, you can use the same technique to include spooled file information in the subject line of the e-mail.
