Those of you familiar with the Dr. Seuss classic, Horton Hears a Who, might remember the cry Horton heard from the tiny magical world: We are here; We are here! But, it was hard for the others around him to believe that this world existed.
We find ourselves in a similar situation. Because customer service is often an afterthought for software companies—many people are used to terrible service, or no service, from other software companies—they think that good service only exists in a magical world. Consequently, many customers don’t believe that we really are here and that we really hear their needs.
But, we are and we do. As I travel, I’m often reminded of how important it is for you and your teams to call us because, we are here to help and we are here to review how you are using our products. For example, we can help you by reviewing your Run Books for automation opportunities; by looking at the WRKSYSSTS command to help with work management; by reviewing your security setup; and by analyzing your backup and recovery strategies. Our Support staff can even help with complex scheduling issues. Don’t worry about poor service you may have received in the past from other companies. Just call us and believe that we can help.
You’re not causing problems by calling us. On the contrary, we get thousands of calls a month from customers.
