Say Yes To COMMON
Are you coming to COMMON in Minneapolis on May 1? Minneapolis is Help/Systems’ home base and our doors are always open to you. As usual, we'll have a booth at the Expo, plus members of our staff will be attending the COMMON conference for their own education.
What is COMMON?
COMMON is an education conference centered primarily around IBM i. It’s been around for more than 50 years, and its purpose is to offer up-to-date courses taught by IBM and industry experts. At COMMON, you can learn about PowerHA, work management, ILE RPG, PHP on IBM i, indexing in DB2, security, journaling, and much more. Most of the topics are technical and aimed at programmers, system administrators, and technology managers.
This year, the Help/Systems booth will feature our complete family of products: PowerTech, SEQUEL, Robot, Bytware, and Skybot. When you find our booth, try a cup of coffee and enter a drawing to win a Keurig Brewing System. We’ll also have hot chocolate and other goodies available. And, our silver Robot is back by popular demand for celebrity pictures and a warm greeting.
The fun doesn’t stop there. Tuesday evening (May 3), we’ve rented The Local, Irish restaurant and lounge. It's a fun place to relax and network with other Help/Systems customers. Around 6:00 p.m., we’ll be giving away an Apple iPad—all you have to do is show up. So, enjoy some appetizers, have a cocktail, and share a few stories.
My experience with COMMON goes back more than 20 years. During that time it has really expanded. Today, COMMON is a great opportunity to experience top-of-the-line industry education and meet some of the great people at Help/Systems. I really hope COMMON is a big YES for your team.
