Enterprise job scheduling from one location
Use Robot/SCHEDULE’s easy-to-use graphical user interface, the Robot/SCHEDULE Explorer, to manage job scheduling for Windows, UNIX, and Linux servers.
Monitor for changes to a file or directory, processes starting or ending, or user-defined events. Specify the event as a prerequisite for a Robot/SCHEDULE reactive job to ensure that jobs run when they’re supposed to, no matter where the triggering event occurs.
Use Robot/SCHEDULE’s job blueprints, schedule forecasts, job schedule list, job completion history, and Schedule Activity Monitor to manage your enterprise job scheduling.
Set up and manage Robot/SCHEDULE Enterprise agents directly on Windows servers. Add, delete, edit, start, and stop agents, and see troubleshooting information.
Automate your servers even when you can’t access the Robot/SCHEDULE Explorer. Enter agent commands at any command prompt connected to the agent system.
Simplify job setup and updates by defining scheduling objects (command sets, environments, return codes) you can share between jobs and servers.
With Robot/SCHEDULE Enterprise job scheduling software, you can:
- Send text, e-mail or pager messages via Robot/ALERT
- Send messages to a Robot/CONSOLE message center
- Send server status messages to the Robot/NETWORK Status Center
Robot/SCHEDULE Enterprise automates job scheduling for Windows, UNIX, and Linux servers. Combine it with other products in the Robot Automated Operations Solution suite to extend your enterprise job scheduling even further.
- Use Robot/SCHEDULE Enterprise with Robot/NETWORK, the network management software, to send a completion status from a server to the System i and start a reactive job based on a server event
- Use Robot/ALERT with Robot/SCHEDULE Enterprise to send an e-mail, text, or pager message to an operator if a job fails or requires attention.
