Peace House

Peace House Africa, a US-based nonprofit organization, works in Tanzania, East Africa to provide a unique entrepreneurial education to Tanzania’s AIDS orphans and vulnerable children. These young people are the future of their community and their country.

Help/Systems has established a student sponsorship program at Peace House Secondary School. For each internal sales milestone, we sponsor a child. Help/Systems is proud to sponsor the following students:

Abdul is my name and because of Peace House School, I believe in myself and my future. Biology is my favorite class and I plan to become a doctor. When I am not studying I like to read books for fun.

Andrew is my name. In school, I like my physics class and I like studying hard for all of my courses. I also like playing football and am happy that there is time to have games with other students. I understand that a good education will change my life and now I have hope for a successful future.

I am called Angel, and I am 16 years old. I was raised in a very small village, and am so happy to be at Peace House School now. I enjoy all the subjects I am learning and I hope to study accounting in college. I value the respect everyone has for each other at school, and appreciate that this school lets me realize my dreams.

My name is Anna, and I love learning bookkeeping! I hope to be an accountant when I am done with my studies. I am 16 years old and come from the village of Ngarenaro. I like to read and play in my free time when I am not studying. I am so thankful to Peace House School for giving me my education.

My name is Christian. I would like to be a lawyer some day so I am studying hard now at school. My favorite classes are civics and Kiswahili. My life is changing now that I am receiving a good education – it is a better education than I could have gotten in my home village.

My name is Einoth. My home is in the village of Ngaramtoni, where I have lived all of my 16 years until I came to Peace House Secondary School. I love every part of being a student at Peace House School. I like every subject, and I especially love singing in the choir. I want to be a nurse someday, and because of going to school here, I can see that I have the ability within myself to meet my goals.

My name is Emanuel. I like to play football, I like to study math, and I am interested in learning about engineering as a job when I am older. The education I am receiving at Peace House School is very valuable to me because it is better than I could have gotten at home.

I am from Mbauda Street, and my name is Erica. I am 15 years old and I love music and volleyball. My favorite subject right now is biology, but my goal is to become a lawyer. Being a student at Peace House School has given me hope for my future, and it has changed my life by teaching me to respect myself and what I can do.

I am Eunice from the village of Nkoaranga. I am 16 years old and I am studying as hard as I can at Peace House School. Biology is one of my favorite classes, and I also like working with numbers. Being at this school has improved my life because it means I can become well-educated.

My name is Evaline, I am 15 years old, and I have always lived in Arusha. I am a serious student because I understand I must study hard to become a doctor, which is my dream. Science is my favorite subject, and I enjoy being at Peace House School because it is giving me a good education in a beautiful place.

I am called Gertrude and I have big dreams, thanks to being a student at Peace House School. I was born in a very small village, Oldonyosarabo, but I plan on serving my country by being a member of the parliament. Civics is my favorite class as I learn about how government works. I am thankful to have the chance to learn so much.

My name is Joseph, and I value learning. Being at Peace House School lets me learn things I might never have learned anywhere else. I like all of my classes and all of my teachers. I am happy that I also have the chance to play football, and that the food is so good at the school.

I am Maria from Moshi. I am 17 years old, and so happy to have been selected to attend Peace House Secondary School. I like learning, especially math, but I also like to play football, to act, and to spend time thinking about my future. Being a student here gives me peace for my life.

I am Mwanaima and I am 16 years old. Getting an education is very important to me, and Peace House also teaches me to be a good person. I love drawing pictures and am glad that my school day allows me time to draw. I am so thankful to be here.

I am called Naitu and I am 16. I have been helped by coming to Peace House School and my dream is to help other children that are also in need. When I came here I could not read or learn, but now I like to read very much and I am learning a lot every day.

My name is Namnyaki, I am 17 years old, and I come from Kiseroni. In the time I have been at Peace House Secondary School, I have learned so much. I have many more good habits now in the way I study and live. The teachers are so good to the students and I want to be one someday.

My name is Nixon and Moshi town is my home. I am learning so much at Peace House School and it is changing my life. I love singing and hope to be a professional singer when I am grown. For now I like it when we have talent shows on Saturdays. Learning English is very helpful to me with this goal.

Peter is my name and I am 16. At my school we can both learn in class time and play games in free time. I think this is a good thing for the students and I am glad to be here. I am interested in studying the law when I am finished with secondary school.

Selemani is my name and I am 16 years old. Many of my classes at school are enjoyable for me, and when I am not studying I love to do puzzles. At school the buildings we live in and learn in are very nice, and I appreciate all the good advice the teachers give me.

I am called Sifaelli and I come from a village called Sasi. I am in my second year as a student at Peace House Secondary School and my life is changing. I am learning more than I would have been able to learn in my village, and I am a better person because of it.

My name is Verdiana, and I am 13. I may be the youngest student in my class! I come from the town of Ngaramtoni, and my dream is to be a doctor. I like to study science, and English. When I am not in classes I love netball, and singing. I like being at Peace House School because everything we do is to help the students learn.

My name is Waziri. I used to live in a very small town and did not have the chance to go to school, but now at Peace House I can learn so many things to help me in life. Geography is my favorite subject, and singing is my favorite free time activity. I don’t know what I want to be when I grow up except I hope to be famous.

My name is Wilbard. I am happy to be a student at Peace House School, where I can study many things. Science is the class I enjoy the most. When I am not studying I like to swim and to read. I am learning so much at school and my life has been improved because of the education I am receiving.

Hello, I am called Wilson. Bookkeeping is my favorite class at school because I think I would like to become an accountant. I study a lot which lets me learn a lot. Of course I like to play in my free time, too, but I know how important a good education is.

My name is Wisley and I am 16 years old. Learning English is the best part of being at Peace House School. The teachers are so good to the students, and I am thankful that they help us so much. In my village I was living a very hard life but now at Peace House my suffering is gone.
